The Opportunity

The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity, and enabling analytics and reporting across the organization. This role requires strong SQL skills, a deep understanding of cloud data solutions and proficiency in orchestrating workflows using ELT tools. Develop scalable data processing solutions using Snowflake and cloud-native services (AWS/GCP/Azure). Develop and maintain robust ELT pipelines using Azure Synapse, Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt, airflow or similar cloud native products. Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, and ensure data accuracy, and completeness. Automate data quality checks and implements governance standards. Design and implement dimensional models and data marts to support reporting and analytics. Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across the data ecosystem. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable solutions. Optimize performance and cost of data infrastructure and queries. Write unit and integration tests, contribute to engineering wiki, and document work. What You’ll Bring

5-7 years in Data Engineering with hands-on experience on building data pipelines in modern data cloud technologies such as Snowflake, dbt, and cloud-native data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). 5-7 years of experience in SQL/PL-SQL. Strong expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool): building modular and maintainable dbt models with Jinja templating and ref-based dependencies. Experience in process design and documentation. Experience leading and mentoring the team on pipeline design and best practices. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. How We’ll Support You
