Military Aircraft Group Machining Team Lead - 1st Shift

The Military Aircraft Group East Aurora Operations team is looking to fill several Team Lead roles within our Machine Shop. These roles will be available on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift and will report directly to the area Performance Leader. Responsibilities
Providing leadership and direct supervision to a small group of employees, within their specific machining or finishing discipline. Supporting their area to achieve production and quality targets by: Being the technical expert and guide for their specific machining, or finishing, discipline. Engaging with employees on the floor and understanding and escalating issues as needed. Leading activities to implement process improvements. Developing and implementing training plans for employees. Completing direct charging tasks, including running machines as needed. Requirements
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated advanced knowledge in area specific machining or finishing discipline, typically acquired through a minimum of 7 years relevant experience. Adaptability and Change Leadership: Demonstrated ability to be flexible, and to lead others, through changing work environments. Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work collaboratively with others to implement effective solutions. Developing Others: A proven track record of providing coaching, support and recognition to enhance employee performance, development and motivation. Conflict Resolution: Partnering with others to achieve a positive and productive work environment through active listening, understanding, and exploring different views.
