The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join the Cloud Platform and Migration team. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage complex cloud infrastructure solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud migration and modernization journey, providing advanced technical expertise and architectural best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, the Delivery Consultant will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You’ll work with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose migration and modernization strategies. You will advise customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, and you will lead the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team that helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We collaborate with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and provide guidance through a range of offerings that support enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through global specialty practices covering various solutions, technologies, and industries. This is a customer-facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services when needed. Responsibilities

Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 5+ years of experience in hands-on cloud enterprise architecture design, storage and networking solutions Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in consulting and working with enterprise customers 5+ years of experience in building, migrating and modernizing enterprise applications for enterprise customers 5+ years of experience with customer cloud transformation activities to ensure successful delivery of solutions Preferred Qualifications AWS experience across a wide range of services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, ECS, EKS) and AWS Professional certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred Hands-on experience with cloud automation and scripting (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK, Python, Shell, Ruby, or PowerShell) Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience in AWS cloud migration services (e.g., AWS Application Migration Service, Cloud Migration Factory) and in cloud portfolio analysis tools, Cloud to AWS migrations, and hybrid cloud integrations Experience integrating AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Amazon Q); understanding of AI governance and responsible AI practices Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
