Job Title: Linux Servers Admin with Nutanix Location
Location: Culver City, CA Travel
Travel Type: Partial Remote (no expenses) 3 days per week onsite Responsibilities
Nutanix Flow: creation, management, and troubleshooting of security policies Nutanix AHV: management of storage, hypervisor, and networking Experience with deploying and managing workloads AOS and Prism experience Updating versions and firmware Cluster creation and expansions Experience with Nutanix Flow Micro-segmentation/Security/SDN Migration of NSX rules to Nutanix Flow security policies Migration of workloads from VMware to Nutanix AHS/AOS installation and upgrade Nutanix Cluster creation and expansion Linux System Server Administration (OS versions, lifecycle mgmt, enterprise scale, etc.): Expert, or near Virtualization Technology (VMware, etc): Expert, or near Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.): Moderate to Expert; hands-on experience with a subset is required Ansible/Terraform: Expert, or near Storage Technologies (SAN, etc.): Moderate, practical experience Documentation: Moderate to Expert; SOP maintenance is required Communication: Expert; ability to clearly communicate task deliverables, accomplishments, and issues to leadership, colleagues, and customers Ancillary Requirements
Python/PowerShell: Practical/Fundamental Database Platforms: Moderate; relevant to Windows Server and Linux Server support Networking: Moderate; ability to perform firewall and fundamental network troubleshooting in support of server-to-server or server-to-client break/fix and deployments Security and Identity (AAA): Moderate to Expert; Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting Qualifications
