Reporting to the Food Services Manager and working within the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom and/or patient services, the Food Service Worker performs a variety of food service tasks in the areas of meal assembly, service and delivery, dishwashing, sanitation and safety. Responsibilities
Assist with meal assembly, service and delivery. Operate dishwashing and sanitation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and safety in food service areas. Required Qualifications
Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms Compensation and Benefits
