Your Role
As a Project Architect, you will drive the technical development, coordination, and execution of medium to large-scale Education, K-12, DSA projects. With a strong focus on DSA compliance, you will ensure that all aspects—from design development to construction documentation-align with regulatory requirements, project goals, and client expectations. You’ll collaborate with consultants, design teams, and agency officials, guiding projects through approvals and into reality. What You’ll Do
Oversee technical development and ensure design intent is executed accurately in construction documents. Resolve complex code and regulatory challenges, coordinating directly with DSA and other agencies to secure approvals. Manage project teams, assigning tasks, mentoring staff, and maintaining workflow efficiency. Lead coordination efforts with consultants, DSA, and the team Monitor quality control, reviewing documents for compliance, constructability, and cost efficiency. Provide technical leadership in materials and systems selection, ensuring functionality, durability, and sustainability. Support business development, participating in client meetings, marketing efforts, and proposal writing. Collaborate with project managers to establish work plans, budgets, staffing projections, and schedules. What You Bring
Licensed Architect in California (mandatory) 7+ years of experience in architectural practice, with a strong background in Education, DSA, and K-12 projects. Expertise in DSA regulatory requirements and experience navigating complex approval processes. Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to manage teams and delegate work effectively. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for technical precision and project coordination.
