Security Professional - Defense Site - Part Time

Brunswick, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. This position offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities. You will serve as an Access Control Officer at an aerospace and defense location, deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas, maintain a visible presence, and verify credentials at key entry points. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, provide outstanding customer service, and uphold access control measures. You will document incidents and respond to situations with professionalism and integrity. This role requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver’s license in the job state is necessary. $15.68 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thu 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the aerospace and defense location to deter unauthorized entry. Implement site-specific access control procedures in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report security-related concerns. Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols. Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related matters and support emergency response activities as needed. What We’re Looking For

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof as required by the client. Must have a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located if the position requires driving. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
