As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol - Government Site in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in various environments, including Government locations and more. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of daily responsibilities. What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location's requirements Provide customer service to individuals on site by addressing questions and concerns in a professional manner Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior Maintain a visible presence to deter potential disruptions and promote order within the location Monitor access points and verify the identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises as required Prepare detailed reports of incidents, observations, and activities during each shift Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations and/or providing directions to emergency personnel What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state and/or local laws and regulations A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only Possess a high school diploma or equivalent Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws Drug screen as permitted by law Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment Why Join Us
