Overview CONTRACT TITLE: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MULTIPLE AWARD TASK ORDER

Duration: 12-24+ months

Location: Sacramento, CA

This is a hybrid task; Contractors will be required to be on-site during the 1st month of the task for on-boarding and knowledge transfer. After that resource will work with the Task Manager for a hybrid schedule ensuring 50% of onsite reporting for the resource.

Working Schedule: Daily Schedule of the resources will be between 7am — 5pm (PST), Monday through Friday. This will be a full-time position.

In accordance with the terms and conditions and scope of services included in SMUD’s Standard Contract Template (as provided, and agreed to by all vendors, in RFQ NO. DOC4812202391), you are requested to submit a proposal for the services described herein.

Scope of Work Client is seeking one (1) Leased Employee who is an experienced Applications and SQL Developer to design, develop, and modify software applications as needed and work with our Senior SMEs on ETL processes to support different data requests across SMUD. Some tasks the leased employee will be expected to work on and collaborate on:

Design, develop and modify software applications as needed.

Design, develop and modify relational and multidimensional database structures, relationships, data flows and data interfaces within the data warehouse as needed.

Modify the data load ETL processes as needed to Extract, Transform and Load data from various data sources into the outage management data warehouse.

Analyze and modify the data structures within a data warehouse to adapt them to our business needs and add enhanced functionality.

Use programming languages, software development methods, “best practice” programming techniques and department standards guides to develop new data warehouse structures and reports and to modify existing ones.

Unit test and debug code prior to delivery to stakeholders.

Participate in requirements gathering and analysis, technical design, testing, documentation and planning.

Consult with stakeholders to gather information about needs, objectives, functions, performance expectations and input and output requirements. Identify and propose technical alternatives to solving their requests and system problems and recommend the best alternative.

Follow department standards and create written documentation and diagrams as required and/or requested. Documentation may include technical specifications, technical alternatives, structure charts, data flow diagrams, etc. for both new functionality and for modifications to existing functionality.

Consult with functional areas as requested to aid in the development of their test scenarios, test plans and test scripts.

Strong oral and written communication, especially when communicating technical information to the non-technical user community.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships and work effectively in diverse teams.

Mandatory Requirements

7+ years of experience using Visual Studio and C#

SQL Server/RDBMS — 7+ Years Experience

Experience with RESTFul API’s and JSON

Strong proficiency in writing and debugging C# code (provide examples in resume that demonstrates this)

Strong proficiency in writing SQL (provide examples in resume that demonstrates this)

1-year Electric Utility experience

Technical Requirements Provides experience in resumes that demonstrates qualification in these areas.

Microsoft SQL knowledge
