Overview
Connected Logistics is seeking four LAN Leads in each region (Northeast, Central, Southeast, West) to support the Department of Defense and the DLA Information Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS), Network & Telecommunications Services (NTS). Local Area Network (NTS-LAN) is located enterprise-wide at multiple DLA locations. This contract is intended to support wired and wireless LAN functions by providing skills and expertise in telecom engineering and operational support of current and new technologies to the Local Area Network (LAN). This position is off-site but must be near a DLA facility (examples include Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; New Cumberland, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Battle Creek, MI; San Antonio, TX; Ogden, UT; Richmond, VA; Warner Robins, GA; Fort Belvoir, VA; Norfolk, VA). Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Network Engineering team for the placement and cabling of LAN equipment within the DLA enclave. Development of market research for new equipment and provide recommendations to Government POC. Provide input on LAN designs and architecture as required. Perform lab testing of LAN equipment. Provide knowledge transfer to the NTS-LAN government staff. Track assigned projects, provide regular updates to the Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) and Government POC. Attend meetings regarding LAN support and assigned projects. Effectively task, track, monitor and report on tickets, projects, and special assignments within their area of responsibility. Five (5) years of progressive LAN experience. Sensitivity Level: IT-I - Critical Sensitive. Clearance: Secret TS preferred. DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II. Computing Environment: CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE. Equal Opportunity
