Overview
FS 50/50 Java, Spring Boot, Angular v10+ role (contract). Base pay range provided varies by skills and experience. Location: Westlake, TX.
Responsibilities
Finding creative ways to get things done, and do them right
Keeping an eye on best-in-class software engineering practices
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies
Taking ownership and accountability for figuring out what needs to be done
Becoming the Technical expert of the Managed Accounts application
Collaborating with the development team to escalate and resolve issues promptly
Working with System Analysts to understand new requirements and implement them
Coordinating with QA and support teams to resolve issues identified during testing and deployment
Qualifications
Bachelor1s/Master1s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
7+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Angular, and JQuery
2+ years of experience working in a Scrum environment
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, uDeploy)
Strong problem-solving skills for complex distributed applications
Strong leadership qualities: engineering excellence mindset, team player, self-starter
Champion of Test-Driven Development and Unit testing
Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor; Selenium WebDriver is a plus
Experience with CSS and SASS/SCSS is a plus
Benefits and Employment Details The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
