Manager of Facilities & Service (The Regents at Scottsdale) at Mark-Taylor, Inc. Mark-Taylor is hiring Managers of Facilities & Service at multiple locations throughout the Greater Phoenix Area. As Manager of Facilities & Service, you will work at one of our communities and represent Mark-Taylor by delivering exceptional customer service while overseeing the upkeep of the physical asset and community grounds.

Responsibilities

Serve as the leader for the team of Service Technicians, Facilities Technicians, and Housekeepers.

Oversee and execute hands-on maintenance to maintain and enhance community value.

Perform inspections, diagnose problems, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior structures.

Manage daily inventory for apartment homes to support leasing efforts, including the Make-Ready and Turn Board.

Schedule contractors and vendors as needed.

Inspect the property for safety hazards and address them.

Share rotating on-call duty with service team members and be available after hours in uniform/badge when needed.

Complete Weekly Service Report in a timely manner.

Adhere to Mark-Taylor safety protocols, programs, policies and procedures.

Participate in training classes and train/mentor Service Technicians and Facilities Technicians.

Keep accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, work orders, inspections, inventories, pool chemical logs, make-ready and turn units.

Maintain excellent customer service and positive rapport with residents and team members.

Capital project oversight, bidding, and execution.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge in Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA-related standards.

One or more industry-specific professional certifications (EPA, HVAC, CPO, OSHA or similar).

Service orientation and basic computer skills.

3+ years as Maintenance Technician, Apartment Turn Technician, Service Technician, Make-Ready Technician, or Work Order Technician.

1 year as Maintenance Manager, Supervisor, Building Engineer or similar.

A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

The starting hourly pay range for Manager of Facilities and Service is $31.00, commensurate with experience and community complexity. This position is eligible for monthly bonuses. Our Service Team Members participate in a rotating on-call schedule with shift differential pay.
