Job Information Salary Range: $98,800 - $165,100 The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This position is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. American Water is committed to pay equity. Primary Role The Principal Technologist solves complex technology cybersecurity problems. This role will work closely with various project teams and will liaise with the American Water Enterprise Architecture team and will drive cyber compliance with all application regulations where they apply. Key Accountabilities Documenting Policies, Procedures and Standards: 30% Technical Requirements and Design: 30% Project Requirements: 20% Coordination: 10% Day to Day CyberSecurity Duties: 10% Knowledge/Skills Security Architecture, Risk Assessment, Project involvement, Diagramming. Strong knowledge of digital technologies and applicability for the water and wastewater industries. Expertise with a cybersecurity and cybersecurity architecture. Demonstrated ability to apply cybersecurity themes to solve practical problems in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams. Experience/Education Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems or similar technology field is required. Master's degree is preferred. 7+ years experience working in the technology field required with an additional 3+ years dedicated to the specialty area as security architect or equivalent role. Experience with the water utility industry is highly desired, but not required. Travel Requirements As necessary, up to 25% Office Environment, Camden, NJ.
