IT Technical Manager (Workday Finance Implementation) – City of Minneapolis This range is provided by City of Minneapolis. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base pay range:
$126,146.00/yr - $171,606.00/yr Responsibilities
The position leads and manages the technical operations of their area of expertise. This includes solutions for the installation of a new Enterprise-Wide Business System as well as ensuring the resulting project is managed successfully for the City’s Finance areas. Develop and implement the technical strategy, supervise technical staff, oversee technical projects and programs, and ensure the technology is used effectively. Ensure alignment with the City\'s strategic goals and objectives. Work Location: This position may be eligible for flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work with some days working remotely and some days working in the office. Maintain security and privacy of the City’s IT systems and data; implement security protocols and ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards. Lead and mentor IT staff, including hiring, training, performance management, change management strategies, and coaching. Build and maintain enterprise-wide relationships with key stakeholders; communicate, negotiate, and collaborate across the organization. Manage IT projects from conception to completion, including planning, timelines, tasks, and overseeing project teams for the Workday ERP system. Develop standards for the technical team, including compliance with regulations, cybersecurity requirements, and best practices. Oversee day-to-day IT operations for the functional team and provide technical support to employees. Develop project and lifecycle budgets, including ongoing lifecycle upgrades, new investments, one-time and ongoing cost estimates, and staff resource allocation. Provide technical expertise in Finance and Accounting software and Project Management; offer guidance and support to team members and colleagues across IT and City Enterprise. Qualifications
