Overview
Regional Director of Experience
(DOE) — a dynamic leader responsible for shaping, elevating, and consistently delivering an exceptional resident and family experience across all Fellowship Square and Christian Care communities. This is a highly impactful role that blends strategy, innovation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure every resident thrives.
Reporting directly to the Chief Sales, Marketing & Experience Officer, the DOE will foster brand loyalty and ensure a customer-centric approach across all business operations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, leadership, and people management skills, with a proven ability to develop strategy, collaborate across teams, and drive the big picture vision for senior living and the resident experience. The DOE will also support Experience Directors at each community, championing innovation, engagement, wellness, and program excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead customer experience strategy and ensure alignment with our mission, vision, and values.
Mentor and support community-level Directors of Experience to champion resident engagement.
Oversee lifestyle programming across communities, ensuring innovation, quality, and measurable impact.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Dining, Wellness, and Operations to deliver a seamless resident journey.
Monitor resident satisfaction, retention, and referrals—using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance, program consistency, and hospitality standards through regular site visits.
Qualifications
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 7+ years in senior living operations.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams in Independent Living or Continuum of Care settings.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of senior living best practices, resident programming, and regulatory compliance.
Other: Ability to travel, make independent decisions, and collaborate across diverse teams.
Preferred Skills
Experience leading Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care
Proven ability to develop and implement signature lifestyle initiatives that improve resident engagement.
Strong knowledge of competitive markets, demographics, and administrative practices within senior living.
Experience with customer satisfaction measurement, data analysis, and program evaluation.
Proficiency with CRM, EHR, and other senior living software systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to tactfully engage residents, families, and staff.
Background in budgeting and financial oversight for resident programming and experience initiatives.
Ability to stay ahead of industry trends and drive innovation in wellness, lifestyle, and engagement offerings.
