We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior DevOps Engineer
with deep Azure expertise to lead cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and reliability engineering initiatives. This role will focus on enabling scalability, resilience, and compliance within enterprise environments, particularly in the financial services domain. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of hands-on technical skill, leadership, and consulting presence to deliver impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities
Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for scalable application delivery. Ensure system availability, performance, and security with proactive monitoring and incident management. Drive infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code to reduce manual effort. Support cloud modernization by refactoring legacy systems into Azure-native architectures. Lead initiatives on observability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency. Enforce governance, security, and compliance practices for regulated environments. Collaborate across engineering, QA, infrastructure, and security teams. Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous system reliability improvements. Required Qualifications
12+ years of IT/engineering experience (mandatory). Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, identity, monitoring). Proven ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM Templates). Experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills in production environments. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Experience in financial services or other regulated industries. Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering principles. Cloud/DevOps certifications (Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect).
