Cloud Developer
with strong AWS expertise to design, develop, and modernize cloud applications. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop applications using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM). Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and version control workflows. Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation. Build, deploy, and debug basic web applications with REST APIs using Python, Node.js, or C#. Design and develop containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE). Develop and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB). Ensure security compliance using encryption, secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault), and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2). Monitor and optimize system performance for cost, speed, and reliability using CloudWatch. Contribute to cloud modernization activities and recommend/implement best-fit solutions. Project & Compliance Activities
Assist in planning and execution of cloud implementation projects aligned with IT standards and best practices. Participate in requirements sessions with SMEs, business users, and analysts. Collaborate with technical architects and DBAs for data exchange design and optimization. Support development and promotion of enterprise-wide data strategies, standards, and best practices. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and compliance records. Knowledge Transfer
Create job aids, training documents, and runbooks for design, development, and testing. Provide technical mentorship and support knowledge-sharing across teams. Qualifications (Required)
3-5 years of hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM). 3-5 years with CI/CD tools, especially GitHub and version control workflows. 3+ years using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates). 3-5 years experience building and debugging web apps with APIs (REST) using Python, Node.js, or C#. 3+ years experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and container orchestration. 3-5 years experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB). 3-5 years of experience with encryption, secrets management, and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2). Desirable Skills
Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework. Experience with legacy system migrations to AWS. Knowledge of cost optimization strategies (AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor). Experience with security enforcement automation (AWS Config, Security Hub). Centralized logging experience (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Splunk). Scripting expertise with Bash or PowerShell. Exposure to AI/ML cloud services (e.g., SageMaker) and multi-cloud architecture.
