Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks, etc. Seeking a seasoned security engineering professional to drive the development and architecture strategy of a new security platform. This is a Sr. Manager level position requiring strong development and leadership experience. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team offers the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive-scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. We are looking for a seasoned security engineering professional to drive the development and architecture strategy of a new security platform. You will have expertise in building out teams and platforms to solve difficult security problems in distributed systems, multi-tenant services and large-scale infrastructures. Build out and drive a team to prototype, design, and implement a new trusted infrastructure Define, develop, and implement security solutions for new and challenging problems, focusing on secure features for cloud services Drive and champion security tool development Design and build security and network mechanisms, along with best practices Must Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Experience in designing software architecture and developing solutions using modern programming languages, with a strong preference for Java Over 6 years of experience in engineering management or related field, with a proven track record of driving the software development lifecycle to achieve product roadmap objectives Experience managing network and security solution teams Strong security and network experience, particularly in: Network, Security, and Identity; Service architecture and Design Patterns Strong collaboration and communication skills Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science or related field Experience in large cloud or Internet software company Experience building out new cloud development teams Experience leading development of net-new cloud services Strong knowledge of Application Security and security platforms in cloud infrastructure Experience collaborating with software development teams, data scientists, business and other technical roles Experience with Windows and Linux Responsibilities (continued)

Lead the design and build of security systems, applications, environments, and architectures Oversee the implementation of security systems and ensure compliance with information security standards and policies Collaborate with partners to understand customer needs and build an innovative security platform Participate in network solution and architecture design; develop standalone features to support the new trusted infrastructure platform Provide technical advice and direction to support secure architectures Additional Information

Salary and benefits: US hiring range is USD $115,600 - $251,600 per year, with possible bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
