Site Design Project Engineer — Westwood Professional Services, Inc. Westwood is seeking a Site Design Project Engineer to join our Houston, TX office. The candidate will collaborate on wind projects and emerging market projects, with a focus on client service and technical excellence. This role may be a step toward project management or a strong technical lead for the right candidate. Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare design documents for civil systems associated with utility-scale renewable projects. Review plans and specifications for constructibility and risk management. Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments within the local office. Serve as a liaison between other engineers and the design team. Assist the Project Manager or Lead in preparing conceptual, preliminary and final design and participate in meetings and client calls to coordinate design activities. Assist with other duties assigned by Project Managers. Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program. Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with department personnel and office staff; strong oral and written communication skills. Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Experience managing design staff is a plus. Extensive experience in storm water management and permitting preferred. Detail oriented and efficient in problem solving. Interest in renewable energy development and design. Preferred Experience

Ideal candidate will have experience in renewable energy or display passion to learn about the renewable energy industry. Experience managing Land Development or Public Infrastructure projects. EIT certification preferred. About Westwood Professional Services, Inc. (Westwood)
