This role offers the chance to work directly with the Chief Data & Analytics Officer and the Head of Data Science, contributing to creating business value from data and analytic products within a team of data professionals. Key Responsibilities
Build and lead a high-performing data science team. Stay updated on ML and AI innovations, industry trends, challenges, and market opportunities. Mentor team members and manage stakeholder relationships from ideation to deployment. Support use case development, including data exploration, analysis, modeling, and reporting. Apply advanced statistical and AI/ML techniques to develop predictive models and analyses aligned with business goals. Package and deploy models in collaboration with Data Engineers and MLOps. Implement new methodologies as needed for models and analyses. Innovate problem-solving approaches using data mining and visualization. Collaborate across departments to leverage data for business solutions. Communicate findings through data visualization and presentations to decision-makers. Ensure data accuracy, report consistency, and troubleshoot anomalies. Attend industry conferences to stay current with trends and challenges. Contribute to standardizing Data Science tools, processes, and best practices. Candidate Profile
Passionate about cutting-edge AI/ML technology and applying new algorithms. Analytically driven, curious, with experience leading data solutions for business problems. Enjoy leading teams and deploying AI/ML solutions that generate business value. Collaborative with multidisciplinary teams including data engineers and business leaders. Qualifications
PhD (6+ years), Master’s (8+ years), or Bachelor’s (10+ years) in relevant fields. 7+ years of hands-on ML modeling experience. 2+ years in the insurance industry, with knowledge of specific markets being a plus. Experience with deep learning, NLP, and large models. Proficiency in various ML techniques and programming in Python. Strong communication and leadership skills. Compensation & Additional Info
