ABOUT US: Founded in 1993, Bayview Asset Management is an investment management firm focused on investments in mortgage and consumer credit, including whole loans, asset-backed securities, mortgage servicing rights, and other credit-related assets. POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Finance & Operations Analyst plays a dual role in supporting the financial planning and the operational efficiency of the IT organization. This Analyst will provide financial insights into IT investments while also ensuring smooth execution of IT operations, processes, and service delivery. The Analyst will partners with IT leaders, Finance, and Operations teams to optimize costs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Monitor IT operational costs and usage across infrastructure, software, and services to ensure alignment with budget and strategic priorities. Conduct variance and trend analysis to highlight risks, savings opportunities, and operational impacts. Analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities, inefficiencies, or duplications in IT services or tools. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into IT resource utilization, budget adherence, and operational performance. Collaborate with IT Operations teams to track costs related to infrastructure, cloud, software, and services. Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with Finance and IT leadership. Track vendor contracts and software licenses to ensure compliance, cost control, and renewal readiness. Contribute to IT procurement governance by reviewing proposals and validating cost-benefit justifications. Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate operational efficiency and recommend improvements. Actively participate in IT audit readiness and compliance activities by ensuring documentation, processes, and controls are maintained. Collaborate with enterprise teams to assess tool usage, streamline portfolios, and promote adoption of standardized solutions. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field. 3+ years of experience in IT finance, operations,or financial analysis, in a mid-to-large enterprise. Proficiency in enterprise applications such as Jira, Oracle, Concur, Microsoft or other ERP/ITSM technology platforms. Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, Power BI, or equivalent data visualization/reporting tools. Understanding of IT cost structures (CapEx, OpEx), chargebacks, and resource allocation models. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a business partner mindset. Experience with IT Financial Management (ITFM) or Technology Business Management (TBM) frameworks preferred. Familiarity with ITIL or COBIT governance practices preferred. Certification in finance, IT governance, or project management (e.g., CGEIT, ITIL, PMP, CFA) is a plus. Location and Compensation
This role will be based in Bayview’s Coral Gables, FL. This role will be 100% hybrid (M/F wfh, Tues – Thurs on-site) *Salary may vary based on work experience, market conditions, location, and qualifications/training. Physical Demands and Work Environment
