Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance Position Summary We are seeking a
Corporate Accounting Manager
to oversee key financial functions, including
financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, budgeting, fixed asset accounting, and treasury management . This is a
hands-on accounting leadership role
that ensures financial integrity, supports strategic decision-making, and partners cross-functionally with operations, retail, and fuel teams. The ideal candidate is
highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical , with a proven ability to thrive in a
fast-paced, entrepreneurial, multi-location environment . Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with
GAAP . Manage accounting and reporting for all legal entities. Develop operational and financial dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards. Lead annual budgeting for the company and field operations. Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliations. Audit & Compliance Manage annual external audits and serve as liaison with auditors. Address audit findings and implement process improvements. Maintain policies and procedures to ensure
audit readiness
year-round. Tax & Regulatory Compliance Coordinate with external tax/accounting firm for corporate tax return preparation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational tax regulations, including
sales and fuel taxes . Cash Flow & Treasury Monitor daily cash balances and manage fund transfers. Forecast cash flow and recommend strategies to improve liquidity. Business Partnership & Special Projects Serve as a financial partner to operations, retail, and fuel teams. Participate in ad hoc projects and compile special financial reports. Establish a deep understanding of company processes, systems, and internal controls. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree
in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) 3–5 years
of progressive accounting experience Experience in
retail, restaurant, fuel distribution, or multi-location operations
preferred Strong knowledge of
GAAP, tax regulations, and accounting principles Proficiency with
ERP systems
(PDI preferred; SAP or similar acceptable) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills High integrity, dependability, and results-oriented mindset Execution-focused, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Team-oriented with a
