About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven
Plant Controller
to play a key leadership role in our Finance and Controlling team. This is a high-impact position where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution. You’ll lead financial planning, ensure compliance with international standards, and partner with operations to drive efficiency and profitability. If you are passionate about using your financial expertise to shape business performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this role offers the opportunity to influence both daily operations and long-term strategy. What You’ll Do
Financial Leadership Lead all aspects of plant finance including
budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly/annual reporting .
Provide data-driven financial insights to guide strategic and operational decisions.
Manage internal controls and ensure full compliance with
local GAAP, IFRS, and company policies .
Operational & Strategic Partnership Collaborate with the Plant Manager and leadership team to align financial priorities with operational goals.
Drive cost control, variance analysis, and capital investment tracking.
Identify and execute opportunities for
tax optimization
and R&D tax credits.
Systems & Process Optimization Oversee
SAP implementation
and continuous improvement of finance systems.
Lead financial audits, inventory valuation, and stocktaking activities.
Compliance & People Leadership Supervise payroll reporting and HR-related financial topics.
Ensure adherence to
health, safety, and environmental
compliance across the plant.
What You Bring
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field ( MBA preferred ).
Experience:
Minimum 5 years as a Plant Controller in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of tax, accounting, and financial systems ( SAP FICO, HFM ).
Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
Exceptional communication skills; ability to influence across functions and cultures.
Languages:
English required; Spanish, German, or French a plus.
Certifications:
Green Belt a plus; PE or other relevant credentials welcome.
