Overview
Finance Manager, Global Product & Technology Organization — supporting the Global Technology and Product Organization. The role is part of an innovative, collaborative and transparent team at the forefront of financial planning for technology initiatives. You will partner with Technology and Product Leadership to build comprehensive financial frameworks that maximize the impact of investments in emerging technologies, AI applications, and next-generation product development. You will drive outstanding financial results by enabling and accelerating Anaplan's strategic execution across our technology portfolio. You’ll be an active contributor to cross-functional teams throughout Anaplan, focusing on evaluating and optimizing investments in artificial intelligence, machine learning platforms, cloud infrastructure, and innovative application development. The role offers partnership with the technology team developing the financial tools and AI-powered analytics used daily. This role sits in our Miami or Minneapolis office at least 2 days/week on a hybrid schedule. Your Impact
Business and Finance Partnership for Technology Innovation : Provide strategic leadership for financial management of technology investments (including AI/ML initiatives, product development cycles, and emerging technology platforms). Ensure investments align with strategic priorities and identify opportunities to reallocate resources across infrastructure, development, and AI innovation portfolios. Expand analysis beyond traditional metrics to include technology ROI, innovation impact, and competitive positioning. Financial Planning Cycles : Lead and coordinate annual budget processes, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial closes for the Product & Technology organization. Ensure timely, accurate planning with strong controls and documentation. Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, perform variance analysis, and communicate results. Long Range Planning & Technology Investment Analysis : Conduct ROI analyses on new technology initiatives (AI implementation, feature development, platform modernization). Develop financial models accounting for development cycles, scalability, and long-term value from AI and automation. Present investment strategies to senior leadership. Process Improvement & Financial Innovation : Identify opportunities to improve forecasting, reporting, and analysis using Anaplan, AI-powered insights, and automation. Champion innovative modeling techniques that incorporate technology metrics such as development velocity, platform utilization, and AI model performance. Technology Investment Decision Support : Maximize Engineering and Product investments across traditional and emerging platforms. Recommend portfolio optimizations balancing innovation with efficiency. Develop scenario analyses for technology adoption, competition, and customer demand for AI-powered solutions. Qualifications
Experience in FP&A, management consulting, investment banking, or technology finance with exposure to software development and AI/ML project economics Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, including models with technology investment variables and innovation metrics Understanding of technology business models (SaaS/Cloud) and product development lifecycle economics Self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment while managing multiple priorities Strong written and oral communication skills with experience presenting complex technology investment scenarios to business partners Nice To Haves
Experience with SaaS/Cloud computing business models and AI/ML cost and ROI frameworks Familiarity with technology metrics (development velocity, platform scalability, AI model performance indicators) Experience with enterprise FP&A tools, particularly Anaplan Previous experience in technology companies or roles supporting product development and innovation teams Base Salary Range
