Oracle
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) delivers mission-critical applications for top enterprises worldwide, operating in more than 50 regions. Beyond public cloud, OCI is expanding into dedicated, hybrid, multi-cloud, and edge deployments. Within OCI, the Technical Strategy & Oversight (TSO) organization builds the foundational systems and frameworks that power our most demanding tier-one services.
One of those bold initiatives is Autonomous OCI — a greenfield effort to redesign the kernel and runtime of the cloud itself. Today’s hyperscaler model grows linearly with people; every region or feature adds manual operations and cost. Meanwhile, demand for AI, GPUs, sovereign, and dedicated regions is accelerating faster than humans can scale. Autonomous OCI breaks this curve by making services fast, resilient, and self-healing by default, enabling OCI to scale to thousands of regions efficiently.
We are looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff. You are technically strong, hands-on, and have a track record of delivering high-quality software. You understand that simple systems are easier to operate and troubleshoot. You can balance speed and quality with iteration and incremental improvements.

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will help build the Light-weight Infrastructure (our next-generation runtime for compute, networking, storage, telemetry, and governance) at the core of Autonomous OCI. You will be responsible for defining and developing components for complex distributed and cloud-scale services. You will work directly with technical leads to ensure new capabilities are built with the right design principles. Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience 3-5+ years of relevant software engineering experience Proficient in at least one (preferably two) of the following languages: Java, C/C++, or Golang Strong grasp of computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals) Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across teams Ready to learn and jump into new areas and domains Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and scalable, reliable workflows is a plus. What We Offer
