Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Daytime, Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Thu 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and communication skills. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical access points to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment. Report and document any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support overall site operations. Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms or emergency calls, applying knowledge of site-specific protocols and procedures. What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements
Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable state and/or local laws. Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
