Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Our client is seeking a RFP & Marketing Analyst to work in their San Mateo office. The ideal candidate will bring 2–5 years of experience with RFP/RFI response writing, creating marketing material, and investment performance reporting. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with investment, sales, and compliance teams, and requires strong writing, analytical, and communication skills. Familiarity with financial software such as FactSet or Morningstar, and knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot, are preferred. This is an in-person role with five days a week in-office. The role is not a remote or virtual job. Responsibilities Develop, revise, and tailor accurate and relevant responses to Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI). Respond to client-specific inquiries from consultants or advisors. Source and analyze relevant data and answers from different financial software. Assist with data and other requests from internal and external stakeholders. Produce and update factsheets, presentations, and commentaries. Assist our Sales team with ad-hoc marketing materials, product positioning materials and reporting. Maintain and update external performance reporting databases and client databases. Analyze the necessary data and respond to data requests from clients or their advisors. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, investment, trading, and compliance teams on ad-hoc projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics or similar fields 2-5 years of experience of relevant work experience in the financial services industry, ideally in investment performance reporting and analysis and/or writing RFPs Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and work efficiently Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a complex, dynamic environment, demonstrating solid judgment, planning, collaborating, and organization skills Excellent project management and collaboration skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred to have experience with FactSet, Morningstar, or other investment software Seniority level
