Finance Business Partner
Join AvidXchange as a Finance Business Partner where your expertise will directly shape the company’s operational efficiency and profitability. In this critical role, you will partner closely with the Business Operations team and drive initiatives that optimize internal processes, monitor and enhance key profitability metrics, and develop robust models to support decision-making. Collaborating with executive leadership, you’ll transform operational data into actionable financial insights, ensuring that every strategic move is grounded in a clear understanding of its impact on the bottom line. In this capacity, you will analyze, develop financial models and provide insight to AvidXchange’s Interest Revenue. What you'll do:
Build and manage driver-based financial models driving key product profitability metrics
Support budgeting and annual planning cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Lead monthly financial reviews and monitor performance analytics for Operational Teams
Create executive profitability reporting, including presentations and data storytelling
Integrate key performance indicators into our financial system of record to support driver-based modeling across the FP&A across the organization.
Develop / manage financial models related to Interest Revenue for AvidXchange
Own and evolve the company’s long-range corporate model
What we're looking for:
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in FP&A, Banking / SaaS / Payments experience, Interest or Float management
Modeling Expertise: Proven track record building complete P&L
Communication: Strong ability to synthesize and present complex financial insights to all levels, including executives
Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools such as Adaptive Insights (preferred), Anaplan, Workday, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL
Business Acumen: Strategic thinker with deep understanding of financial drivers and planning best practices
Personality Traits: Intellectually curious, detail-oriented, results-driven, and comfortable delivering under pressure
