About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Accounting to take on a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence of its global general accounting and U.S.-based financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of corporate accounting, including general ledger, accruals, intercompany accounting, and fixed asset processes. This role demands a leader with a people-first approach, deep technical expertise, and a commitment to transparency and team empowerment. Key responsibilities include guiding efficient month- and quarter-end close activities, partnering with FP&A for financial analysis, overseeing SOX compliance, and enhancing internal control frameworks. The VP will also be the primary liaison with external auditors and will work closely with internal Tax and Treasury teams to ensure accurate financial operations. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive accounting leadership experience, with at least 5 years' in a senior controller or VP-level position. Expertise in U.S. GAAP, SOX/internal controls, and financial close operations is essential, with a working knowledge of IFRS. The role requires a CPA (active or inactive) and a background that includes Big 4 audit and/or public company experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading distributed teams, collaborating across borders, and balancing technical precision with strategic vision. Experience in a multinational or high-growth company is also a key requirement.
