Job Summary: A Tax Senior Associate plays a key role in our tax department, supporting compliance and strategic tax planning for clients. This role involves working closely with experienced professionals in tax preparation, research, and client engagement. Our goal is to assist clients in minimizing tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with evolving tax laws. We also provide consulting on stock options, international tax, investments, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and liquidations. Responsibilities include: Mentoring tax associates, guiding on complex issues, and developing their skills Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing tax returns for various entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance Responding to tax authority inquiries, drafting correspondence, and liaising with IRS personnel Participating in client meetings, demonstrating effective communication skills Supporting administrative tasks like maintaining client files Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation Licensed CPA or working towards licensure 2-6 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting Expertise in preparing various tax returns Leadership ability to supervise and mentor staff - Hybrid work model Seniority level
