Handling tax in a large, sophisticated organization and applying knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to complex issues. Leading teams and working in a highly collaborative culture, where listening to and sharing information with colleagues is essential. Engaging in a variety of tax planning projects, responsibilities and tasks for a diverse client base and providing up-to-the-minute tax advice. Skills And Attributes For Success

Analyzing an evolving portfolio of increasingly complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights. Identifying potential opportunities and risks and communicating these to clients. Learning and researching current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor. Building client relationships with deep knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industries. Developing clear, intelligent plans to improve clients' tax activities. Researching clients’ business operations and tailoring advice to specific needs. Supervising a motivated team of professionals and ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and opportunities to reach their full potential. Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline. Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment. Extensive knowledge in real estate tax technical and transaction skills (e.g., partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring). Experience managing budgets, people and projects. Business development within the market. A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization. Technical writing and research experience in a tax context. The ability to prioritize multiple complex projects. Strong influencing skills and the confidence to question existing processes. Willingness to travel as needed, in a balanced hybrid environment. You'll also have

CPA qualification or be a member of a state bar. What we look for

The salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr.

Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. EEO Statement
