Title and Summary FX Manager, Corporate Treasury Overview:

Corporate Treasury is hiring a manager for our foreign exchange team. The team manages FX risk related to Mastercard’s global revenues, expenses, assets, liabilities, daily cross-border settlements, and investments. This high-visibility role offers opportunities to manage global FX exposures, support Mastercard’s cross-border business, contribute FX insights to cross-functional projects, and optimize processes. The role involves partnering with the broader Corporate Finance team for hedging activities and special projects. Responsibilities: Lead and manage cross-functional projects to ensure successful delivery of treasury and FX initiatives. Analyze initiatives globally to assess FX impacts; design and implement hedging solutions. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Identify and initiate projects to capitalize on favorable market conditions and improve operations. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management. Execute FX trades to support Mastercard’s cross-border business and manage FX risk; develop hedging strategies. Manage relationships with FX trading counterparties and vendors. Support other functions with FX analysis, including financial planning, technical accounting, settlements, and product teams. Review SEC disclosures related to foreign currency derivatives. Support Sarbanes-Oxley controls and assist with internal and external audits. Qualifications: Proven experience in project management, successfully leading complex projects on time and within budget. Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive initiative-taking. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Knowledge of accounting concepts including hedge accounting, mark-to-market, and SEC disclosures. Understanding of internal controls and experience as a control process owner. Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint. Experience delivering presentations to senior leadership. Ability to drive change and foster continuous improvement. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree or MBA preferred. Prior FX risk management, treasury, accounting, or financial planning experience is preferred. Compensation includes a competitive salary, potential bonuses, and comprehensive benefits, depending on location and experience. Pay Range Purchase, New York: $129,000 - $206,000 USD
