Overview
Akkodis is seeking an Analyst for a contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ. This role involves developing security automation workflows, managing data pipelines, and creating actionable metrics and reports for cyber threat analysis. Rate Range: $45/hour to 52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage SIEM/SOAR solutions using platforms like Splunk, Elastic, Datadog, and Cribl to support threat detection and response. Develop automation scripts and playbooks using Python or Ansible to streamline security operations and incident response. Analyze and optimize data pipelines across hybrid-cloud environments, including integration with data lakes and warehouses (e.g., AWS S3, Snowflake). Create and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reports to monitor security trends and system performance. Perform advanced log analysis and threat hunting using Splunk search language, RegEx, and other tools. Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure secure architecture and compliance across AWS and Azure environments. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Minimum 12 years overall, with at least 10 years in SIEM/SOAR technologies and 5 years in cybersecurity. Deep expertise in platforms like Splunk, Elastic, and Cribl, including log analysis, alerting, and automation.
