Korn Ferry has partnered with a global Private Equity firm. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Valuation & Reporting Associate to join our Finance & Portfolio Analytics team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the valuation process across the firm’s investment portfolio, as well as managing quarterly and annual investor reporting deliverables. The ideal candidate brings strong financial modeling skills, a solid understanding of private equity valuation methodologies, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual fair value analyses for the firm’s investments Collaborate with investment professionals and operating teams to gather portfolio company performance data and financial projections Build and maintain valuation models (DCF, market comps, precedent transactions, etc.) and document key assumptions Support internal and external valuation reviews, including working with independent valuation firms and auditors Track and analyze portfolio company performance metrics and key value drivers Coordinate and prepare quarterly and annual investor reporting packages, including fund financials, portfolio company updates, and performance metrics Maintain and update performance and attribution analysis across funds and co-investments Assist in responding to investor due diligence requests and LP data queries Support fundraising efforts with performance data, track records, and valuation history Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; 2–5 years of relevant experience in private equity, investment banking, public accounting (valuation group), or financial consulting Strong technical skills in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with valuation platforms and portfolio monitoring tools is a plus Knowledge of private equity structures, fund operations, and investment lifecycle Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively across departments and time zones High level of attention to detail and intellectual curiosity Seniority level
