Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Real Estate Development and Property Management firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to support the financial operations. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting both development project accounting and ongoing property operations. Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, rent collections, and disbursements. Maintain the general ledger and post journal entries, including development-related costs. Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts for accuracy. Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow reports. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Support budgeting and forecasting for property operations and development projects. Track project-level expenses and capitalized costs for real estate development and restoration projects. Process draw requests, vendor payments, and allocate costs accurately across projects. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records (digital and physical). Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies. Work closely with asset managers, property managers, and project teams to coordinate financial workflows. Communicate with vendors, contractors, and external partners as needed. Qualifications

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 2–5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally in real estate development or property management. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, AppFolio); strong Excel skills. Solid understanding of general ledger bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Details
