The Contributions You Will Make
You will work as part of a team which leads all product development and product management efforts across equity, fixed income, multi-asset, and alternatives. Evaluate Voya’s fixed income investment strategies relative to competition in terms of performance, process, and portfolio positioning using a wide variety of industry resources. Provide comprehensive analysis on investment performance relative to the market, benchmark, and peers. Serve as a subject matter expert on Voya's fixed income investment products and strategies along with the broader competitive landscape and marketplace trends. Craft and produce comprehensive competitive analysis reports relative to market and peers. Tailor depth, breadth, and output according to internal client, audience, and delivery method. Assist in the research and analysis of the markets in which Voya Investment Management operates to identify and evaluate industry and investment product trends, existing and emerging competitors, sales opportunities, and other factors affecting the business environment. Contribute to product development efforts through ongoing review of syndicated research and industry trends. Lead packaging and distribution of regular updates to business partners. Minimum Knowledge & Experience
Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or a similarly related field 1-3 years of investment related experience desired (including Internships) within an asset manager or other investment-related field. A real passion for investments and financial markets and a desire to develop deep knowledge of investments, capital markets, and the firm’s investment strategies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to combine investment knowledge and technical expertise to produce effective results. Effective communication and critical thinking skills with an extraordinary attention to detail. Pro-active, dedicated, and self-motivated with the ability and flexibility to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Morningstar Direct, PSN, eVestment, SimFund, and Zephyr a plus. CFA designation in progress or a strong desire to pursue the designation is preferred. Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. $70,000 to $80,000 USD Be Well. Stay Well. & Benefits
