Senior Accountant

Insight Global is seeking a Sr. Accountant for a Utility Services client in the Orange, CA area. This person will take full ownership of the accounting function for the clients' two locations. This role is strictly accounting-focused and requires hands-on expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), billing, payroll, general ledger, and collections. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and be ready to manage the full accounting cycle with minimal oversight. JOB DESCRIPTION The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounting function for the clients' two locations, including AR, AP, billing, payroll, general ledger, and collections. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must have construction company experience (labor costs, etc) 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting Strong expertise in AR, AP, billing, payroll, general ledger, and collections Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience in the service industry Knowledge of job costing and contract billing Sage or NetSuite experience Location:
