Join a Leading Name in U.S. Manufacturing — We’re Hiring: Plant Controller (Louisville, KY)
Compensation:
$130,000 – $140,000 annually + up to 10% bonus eligibility
Summary We’re seeking an experienced
Plant Controller
to lead financial operations at a dynamic, high-performing manufacturing facility. Backed by a nationally recognized CPG leader with a strong track record of innovation and household-name brands, this role offers the unique opportunity to operate as the strategic financial partner to plant leadership — with real influence on long-term direction, performance, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all plant-level financial operations, including P&L oversight, forecasting, and cost analysis.
Manage monthly close processes and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal audit standards.
Partner with the Plant Manager and cross-functional leaders on strategic initiatives and cost-savings programs.
Develop and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and standard cost models.
Support and lead capital investment analysis and ROI modeling.
Supervise, mentor, and grow the onsite finance team.
What You Bring Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
7–10 years of progressive Finance/Accounting experience, including 5+ years in a plant/controller-level role
Strong systems expertise: ERP (SAP preferred), Hyperion, Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel
Proven leadership, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:
MBA, CPA or CMA preferred but not required
Previous finance experience at a plant
