Sr. Accountant
The Sr. Accountant will utilize advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards to compile and analyze financial information, prepare journal entries, and review general ledger account reconciliations and manual journal entries. The role involves ensuring that adequate internal controls are in place to facilitate accurate financial statements and safeguard assets.
The Sr. Accountant will perform monthly consolidation of company financials, identify and process topside adjustments for eliminations and intercompany transactions, and provide audit support to external auditors. This position requires accounting for leases, accruals, assets, and expenditures, and coordinating general ledger input, reconciliation, and analysis. Additionally, the role involves preparing financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and summarizing company results and financial position.
Responsibilities
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and review general ledger account reconciliations.
Ensure internal controls are in place for accurate financial statements and asset safeguarding.
Perform monthly consolidation of financials, including topside adjustments for eliminations and intercompany transactions.
Provide audit support to external auditors and prepare audited financial and benefits statements.
Account for leases, accruals, assets, and expenditures.
Coordinate and prepare general ledger input, reconciliation, and analysis.
Prepare detailed financial information and summarize company results and financial position.
Coordinate uploading and extraction of information from the general ledger using tools like Microsoft Excel, OneStream, SAP, and QAD.
Essential Skills
Advanced knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards.
Experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and application of financial accounting principles.
Proficiency in Onestream or similar consolidation applications.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; Master's degree preferred.
2-4+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and / or public accounting.
Knowledge of journal entries and accounting skills in areas such as leases, consolidations, and foreign exchange.
Work Environment

Job Details
This is a Permanent position based out of Lakewood, Colorado. The pay range for this position is $71,904.00 - $94,914.00/yr.
