We are a well-established CPA firm offering flexible work arrangements that combine remote and in-office work to support work-life balance. This role requires a strong background in helping clients with complex tax returns and tax planning. Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. Provide year-end and general tax planning to clients, ensuring optimal tax positions. Conduct detailed tax research to stay updated on changes in tax legislation and identify opportunities for tax savings. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree such as a MST is highly preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax. CPA or on the path to obtain CPA license is required. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns. Experience with year-end and general tax planning. Proven ability to conduct comprehensive tax research. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the ethical standards of the accounting profession. Why join us?
