KBR is a global leader in delivering technology-driven, mission-critical, and sustainable solutions. We are seeking an ambitious Investor Relations (IR) Analyst with a strong interest in investor relations to join our corporate finance team in Houston, TX.
The successful candidate will help prepare investor presentations, earnings materials, and other financial communications, support market analysis and shareholder engagement efforts, and build strong relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in investor relations, gain exposure to strategic decision-making, and make a meaningful impact on the company’s visibility and credibility in the investment community.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Vice President of Investor Relations in preparing for and participating in investor meetings, roadshows, and other stakeholder engagements Support the planning and execution of quarterly earnings calls, investor presentations, and related materials Contribute to shareholder targeting efforts, identifying and profiling current and potential investors Conduct peer analysis, valuation modeling, and financial analysis to provide actionable insights Analyze financial statements, SEC filings, and other company data to support investor reporting and engagement initiatives Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to gather insights, align messaging, and ensure consistency in investor relations strategy Participate in ad hoc projects, market research, and strategic initiatives to enhance shareholder engagement and the company’s visibility Identify opportunities to improve investor relations processes, materials, and communications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field 6–8+ years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Finance, or related roles CPA or other relevant certification preferred, but not required Financial Acumen
Strong understanding of financial statements, capital markets, and investment principles Proficient in financial analysis, including valuation modeling, peer benchmarking, and trend analysis Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, investor-friendly narratives Experience preparing and delivering presentations to senior executives, investors, and analysts Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills and executive presence, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling tools Preferred Qualifications
