Overview
The Financial Operations Analyst III will provide analysis, update and revision to existing procedures, guides, processes and training artifacts. In some cases, the Analyst will be required to initiate these documents if they do not already exist. The ideal candidate will have experience writing and process mapping of financial processes used by the DoD. The position requires a self starter, someone that can work independently or on a small team and accomplish deadlines. The Analyst must have strong communication skills and the ability to create working relationships with Senior Executives and Senior Military Officers.
Qualifications
Have experience in audit readiness within DoD environment
Understand best practices in financial operations
Experience process mapping or process definition
Ability to conduct research and analysis to help inform change management initiatives
Experience writing procedures, instructions, policies and process narratives
Ability to translate requirements into actionable processes
Past experience with Navy ERP, GFEBS or similar systems
Ability to track compliance and alignment to external policy, directives and regulations
CDFM or DAU/DAWIA Financial Management Certifications desired
Bachelor's Degree Required
Six years of experience supporting financial operations within DoD
Secret Clearance Required
