A well-established regional law firm with a diverse litigation portfolio is seeking an Insurance Defense Associate Attorney for its Dallas office. Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage a full caseload of civil defense litigation.
Defend claims involving general liability, personal injury, product liability, and transportation.
Draft and argue motions, oversee discovery, and shape pre-trial strategies.
Conduct depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts.
Perform legal research, risk evaluation, and case analysis.
Represent clients in mediations and settlement negotiations.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel.
Ensure compliance with deadlines and case reporting throughout litigation.
Qualifications
2–7 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
Strong familiarity with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and evidence standards.
Proven ability to handle high-volume caseloads with minimal supervision.
Outstanding legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.
Strong oral advocacy and written communication abilities.
Client-first mindset with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
