Maintain all accounts receivable related functions; identify and track assigned accounts with outstanding debts. Plan and execute actions to recover outstanding payments. Perform heavy phone activity with customers; locate and contact debtors regarding payment status. Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans; handle questions or complaints. Investigate and resolve discrepancies; establish and maintain good relationships with customers. Update account status and database on a regular basis; alert supervisors of customers unwilling or unable to pay outstanding amounts. Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable. Required
High School Diploma/GED 2+ years\' collections experience Ability to use confidential information in a professional manner to achieve collections targets/goals Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet Preferred
Accuracy and attention to detail Excellent internal and external customer service skills Experience with SAP and AS400 Benefits
