Director of Accounts Receivable (AR) for Long Term Care Facilities to oversee financial operations and lead a team of Business Office Managers across multiple facilities in Texas. This position requires willingness to travel as needed. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and streamline AR and collections processes across multiple facilities to ensure timely and accurate billing. Lead and develop a team of Business Office Managers to ensure optimal performance and training. Develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Monitor and analyze monthly AR reports to assess performance and drive improvements. Collaborate with other department heads to ensure cross-departmental alignment of financial processes. Resolve complex billing issues, maintain payer relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, and present reports to senior management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 7 years of experience in AR management, preferably in healthcare, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Proven experience leading teams in a multi-facility environment. Strong understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle, with knowledge of long-term care billing and collections. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel. Benefits
