Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Industry: Professional Services Compensation: $23 – $27 / Hour Base pay range: $23.00/hr - $27.00/hr Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Hybrid – typically Tues/Wed/Thurs onsite) Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). About Our Client: Addison Group is partnering with a leading professional services firm in downtown Chicago. Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and polished Recruiting Coordinator to join their dynamic HR team in a highly respected environment with potential for a permanent role. Job Type: Contract through January 2026, with intent to convert to full-time early 2026. Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule interviews (phone, virtual, and onsite) across various departments Communicate directly with candidates regarding logistics and updates Manage room bookings, prepare interview materials, and greet onsite guests Assist with tracking recruiting activities and maintaining records in the applicant tracking system Support background check processes and onboarding steps for new hires Serve as a liaison with third-party agencies as needed Build and maintain candidate interview schedules and coordinate feedback meetings Participate in special projects or reporting needs for the recruiting team Maintain close communication with recruiters and hiring managers to manage changes quickly Provide a high-touch, professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process Qualifications
1+ year of experience in a recruiting or HR support function Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work independently and handle last-minute changes Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (experience with Greenhouse is a major plus) Professional, polished demeanor with business attire required onsite Experience supporting teams in finance, legal, or other corporate environments is preferred Comfortable handling confidential information and multitasking in a high-volume setting Be part of a supportive and fast-paced HR team Strong potential for permanent hire Note: The following elements are included for context only and remain in the obligation of the employer: EEO statements and equal opportunity employment information are provided by Addison Group as part of standard recruiting communications.
