Insight Global is seeking a Power Settlements Analyst to join a trading company in Downtown Houston, TX, onsite 3 days per week. This is a direct hire, salaried position. Responsibilities
Verify trade details, monitor pricing, and update trading systems with actual movement information based on supporting documentation. Ensure all settlement activities related to trade reconciliation, approval, and payment are performed timely and accurately. Provide settlements for multiple ISOs (ERCOT, ISONE, MISO, NYISO, PJM, SPP) including utilities and various counterpart settlements. Manage and resolve disputes with internal and external parties in a timely manner. Collaborate with Traders, Middle Office, Accounting, and Management on settlement-related inquiries. Ensure correct banking instructions are applied to payments. Validate and enter new SSI into Fenergo in accordance with the approved process. Create and submit settlement packets for payment and forecast. Call counterparts to confirm daily cash receipts and follow up on cash fails. Qualifications
Minimum 23 years of experience in power settlements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, formulas, and pivot tables. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance. Experience with energy pricing and modeling data analytics software. Equal Employment Opportunity
