Overview
Position: Workers Compensation Analyst Location: Skokie, IL Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Hourly Pay Range: $32.60 - $48.90. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Travel: travel to other Endeavor Health locations may be required What You Will Do
Monitors and tracks employee incident reports, reviews workers’ compensation claims, and codes timecards for team members on workers’ compensation. Aids in an investigation to determine the accuracy of the claim, verifies conditions and relevant contributing factors, and other details with potential for litigation. Coordinates the transitional duty program in collaboration with department managers. Monitors lost time claims and update leave information with the Leave and Absence Team Codes timecards for the individuals on workers’ compensation. Participates in claim meetings and periodic claim review sessions with Third Party Administrator(s). Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records. Documents all case activity accurately and timely within the case management system (Team Member Health System). Tracks and categorizes incidences of employee injuries and illnesses. Meets regularly with the Employee Health team to review and analyze employee injury cases. What You Will Need
Education: Bachelor degree in related field and/or comparable experience Experience: 3 years’ experience with workers’ compensation, claims management, safety management and/or comparable experience Unique or Preferred Skills: Excellent critical thinking and judgment; flexible/adaptable – ability to work well with ambiguity; customer service orientation; proficient MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of workers compensation laws/regulations and claim management practices; knowledge of OSHA standards and other relevant regulatory codes; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; attention to detail; ability to work cooperatively and support team efforts Benefits
