Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Senior Director, Talent Acquisition | Building High-Performing Teams
As Assistant Controller, you’ll support the company’s accounting operations—driving timely, accurate financial reporting; maintaining strong accounting records; and reinforcing a robust system of controls and budgets that reduce risk and support growth across a multi-location footprint. What You’ll Do Establish, monitor, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to protect assets. Prepare journal entries; reconcile general ledger accounts; manage and maintain the fixed asset ledger (capitalization, depreciation, disposals). Assist with monthly close and the preparation/publication of monthly financial statements; support variance analysis and monthly analytics for key income/expense lines. Assist with cash/online banking tasks and balance-sheet integrity. Prepare and file required returns (e.g., personal/real property; support state sales & use tax, property tax, and business license compliance). Support annual budgeting by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data. Coordinate with internal/external auditors; provide schedules and documentation. Schedule, assign, and review work; supervise and develop junior accounting staff with thoughtful delegation and cross-training. Protect confidentiality of financial information and strategic plans. Tackle other accounting projects and process improvements as assigned. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required). 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including
multi-location
operations. 2+ years of supervisory experience. Solid grasp of GAAP (IFRS familiarity a plus), including appropriate revenue & expense recognition. High proficiency with accounting software and Excel; comfortable building schedules, reconciliations, and analytics. Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure; meets deadlines in a fast-growing environment. Excellent communication and listening skills; strong customer-service mindset and professionalism. Positive, enthusiastic attitude; reliable, punctual, and collaborative. Flexibility to work varied hours as needed during close, audit, or special projects.
