Claims Specialist - Rideshare Attorney Represented Injury Claims Adjuster at Liberty Mutual Insurance Work location: hybrid setting with in-person collaboration; two days a month in-office if you reside within 50 miles of specified offices. The salary range is $60,000.00/yr - $119,000.00/yr; actual pay based on skills and experience. Role involves managing an assigned caseload of routine to moderately complex claims from investigation through resolution, making decisions about liability/compensability, evaluating losses, and negotiating settlements. Interacts with claimants, policyholders, appraisers, attorneys, and other third parties. The position includes training to enhance skills for delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

Manages an inventory of claims to evaluate compensability/liability. Establishes an action plan based on case facts, best practices, protocols, regulatory issues and available resources. Plan and conduct investigations of claims to confirm coverage and to determine liability, compensability and damages. Assesses policy coverage for submitted claims and notifies the insured of any issues; determines and establishes reserve requirements, adjusting reserves as necessary during processing; refers claims to subrogation or Special Investigations Unit as appropriate. Assesses actual damages and conducts negotiations, within assigned authority limits, to settle claims. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications

BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in claims adjustment, general insurance or formal claims training. Required to obtain and maintain all applicable licenses. Continuing education courses leading to industry certifications preferred (e.g., AEI, IIA, CPCU). About Us
